What to include in a quotation request
A complete request lets us quote a configured instrument rather than a generic model, which is what makes the price comparable with another supplier’s.
- Application and asset — what will be tested, at what voltage, and how often.
- Test standard or client specification — for example IEEE 400.2 for a cable withstand test, or a utility’s own testing procedure.
- Required output — cable capacitance and length, transformer winding resistance range, or the relay types and channel count for secondary injection.
- Quantity — one unit or a fleet, and whether crews will work in parallel.
- Destination and delivery terms — country, port or site, and whether you require a specific Incoterm.
- Documentation requirements — tender pack, Declaration of Conformity wording, calibration certificate format, translated manual.

If a specification in your request cannot be met by our standard configuration, the quotation states that explicitly, together with the closest alternative. We would rather lose scope at the quotation stage than at commissioning.
